The designer cufflinks are handmade of a square massive core with flattened sides. The blue structured strips create the look of a seam that holds the black glossy button. Simple geometric patterns are characteristic for the 1920's Art deco jewellery design style.
The mechanical fastening is made of quality costume jewellery metal (tombac) plated with rhodium. Rhodium is a noble metal used by jewellers for its colour-cosistency and jewellery protection from externalities.
